At this point in my school I am reading about the Civil war, a bloody time in American History a time when Brother was pitted against Brother.
This war tore apart communities and families, it was a time when boys became men.
In the last book I read, Titled “Across Five Aprils” displays the hardships of the war.
Jethro’s Brothers go to war, three to the Union, one to the Confederates, which causes trouble for the family.
And then his father can no longer work in the fields, so he takes the role of the man of the house and does the work of a man, though he is only eleven years old.

Great writing Adam!
Once again, I’d like you to look at your sentences, and shorten them up. Put periods instead of commas at the end of one particular thought. Try a few and let me see how you do.
Great insights!

Adam,
Check your text under “Adam’s Blog” and why do all of your entries end in [...] (elipses). There seems like there should be more, but I can’t seem to get to them?
